Every day our products are subjected to quality tests in our internal laboratory according to the relevant French NF D12-207 standard. We take pride in delivering products that comply with international regulations, ensuring the consistent quality of raw materials, components and processes.

In our laboratory, our toilet seats are submitted to the following tests:

• • Static load – 150 kg during 3 minutes
  • Dynamic load – 75 kg during 30 000 cycles
  • Mechanical endurance – 30 000 cycles
  • Colour – CIELAB reference
  • Flatness – <3 mm between back buffers and plane
  • Dimensions – length + width
  • Safety – absence of edges
  • Hygiene – absence of colour spots
  • Tightening – ≥ 2 Nm
  • Chemicals stains – NaOH + Cl^– 12º + Uric Acid + Sulfamic Acid
  • Adhesion test (for painted toilet seats) – criteria of ISO 2409
  • Dampers torque – Motorised torque measuring system
  • Hardening level – criteria of DIN 53499

The non-reflective finishes, devoid of any gloss or shine, are the most popular choices for contemporary bathrooms. Typically, this effect is achieved using matte paints, which cannot offer the same product longevity as a classic finish.

To keep our product’s quality and achieve a durable matte finish, we recommend avoiding the use of paints and instead applying the matte finish directly to the raw material, without any “masks” or “makeup”!
